Arriva una nuova vela da NeilPryde, la V8 HELIUM destinata a tutti i windsurfisti che vogliono una vela potente ed estremamente planante. Disponibile in sole tre misure (6.5, 7.5, 8.5) la V8 HELIUM è una vela potente, planante, veloce, ma allo stesso tempo è ben bilanciata grazie all’adozione, sullo shape a 5 stecche, di due Ultra Cams posizionati sopra e sotto il boma, che stabilizzano il corpo della vela. A differenza di tutte le altre vele la misura della V8 Helium non va scelta in base alle condizioni del vento, ma al peso corporeo del pilota. E’ stata disegnata appositamente proprio per rendere al massimo in condizioni di vento leggero in funzione del peso di chi la utilizza: i leggeri sotto i 65 kg dovranno scegliere al 6,5, i medi 70/80 kg la 7,5 ed i pesanti, oltre gli 85 kg, la 8,5.

The V8 Helium comes in three sizes, but contrary to regular sails these are not designed to cover different wind conditions but are in fact all designed to be early planing, extreme light-wind specialised sails and the design of each size is optimised to deliver this performance to a specific body weight.
