Molti non sanno da dove derivi il nome AC-1.
Questo nome, molto semplicemente, non è altro che l’elaborazione delle iniziali e del numero velico di Andrea Cucchi fusi insieme. Fondatore di Point-7, capo dello settore ricerca e sviluppo, team manager e l’uomo che un paio di anni fa ha deciso di creare un gruppo di giovani professionisti, preparati adeguatamente e riuniti insieme sotto il nome di Black Team.
La dedizione di questo gruppo, il lavoro continuo di sviluppo dei nuovi rig hanno assicurato risultati eccellenti, permettendo ad un nuovo rider Point-7 che non era mai entrato nei top 10 del PWA, di diventare vice campione del mondo Slalom, finendo ben 3 volte sul podio sui 4 eventi della stagione 2013.
Da tutto questo ha origine la nuova 2014 AC-1.

The AC-1 Gold edition.
Many still don’t know where the name AC-1 derives from. However it’s nothing too elaborate but simply the initials and sail number of Andrea Cucchi put together. Point-7 founder, head of development, team manager and the man who last year decided to create a group of young professionals and have them to train together under the name BLACK TEAM.
The dedication of the team and the advances made on the rig ensured results which were unmatched and took a new Point-7 rider, who had never finished inside the PWA top 10 to finish Vice World Champion, having finished 3 times on the podium out of 4 events over the 2013 season.
Now all this has created the new 2014 AC-1 sails.
