Se ne era già avuto eco nel mondo dei web windsurfistici la scorsa settimana… il passaggio di Peter Muzlinger da Point-7 a Gaastra ha scatenato un “tourbillon” di atleti da una veleria all’altra. Tra gli altri Kevin Pritchard è passato a… Ezzy! Che l’americano abbia in mente un ritorno in grande stile nell’olimpo del wave?! Per adesso sembra ancora “incentrato” sullo slalom, viste le prime foto a “cavallo di una Infinity 7,5!
Ezzy Sails è orgogliosa di annunciare che il pluricampione del mondo Kevin Pritchard correrà con Ezzy Sails nel 2011 e oltre. Il connubio vuole portare la qualità Vele Ezzy ad un livello superiore.
“Sono entusiasta di questa collaborazione con David. Non vedo l’ora di cominciare a lavorare con un così abile artigiano come lui, del quale ho un profondo rispetto. Mi piace il fatto che sia un appassionato windsurfer e quindi possa sentire le vele nelle proprie mani piuttosto che basarsi solo sulle mie indicazioni. Mi esalta l’idea di poter lavorare sulle vele anche con Graham con il quale potrò anche allenarmi in modo da poterci spronare a vicenda e migliorare il nostro livello. Penso proprio che stia per cominciare un bel periodo! - ha detto Kevin - Quest anno sarò focalizzato principalmente sul Tour Americano di Windsurf , farò tutte le tappe compresi alcuni eventi del circuito PWA dove sarà possibile trovare buone condizioni per il wave riding. Mi sto anche organizzando per poter tenere alcuni corsi e fare promozione tra gli Stati Uniti e l’Europa. Questo è un nuovo capitolo della mia carriera e sono entusiasta di questa nuova sfida.”

I really like that he is an avid windsurfer and can feel the sails in his own hands rather than just having feedback from me. I am excited to work on the sails, also together with Graham where I would really like to train with him and push each other’s sailing to new levels.
