Mentre qui in Liguria, il libeccio continua a prenderci in giro (oggi è entrato ad Andora, bello secco con onde liscie, quasi dipinte, ma non appena i nostri “riders”  sono usciti, 2/3 bordi ed il vento si è allontanato da riva diventato più da ovest che da sud/ovest…) in Francia organizzatori ed atleti della seconda edizione dell’European Funboard Expression si stanno fregando le mani per le previsioni dei prossimi giorni. E le previsioni a base di maestrale in Francia, come sapete, non hanno nulla a che fare con quelle di libeccio in Liguria! L’evento che prevede Wave & Freestyle contest + EFPkT final (European Freestyle Pro Tour Kids competizione aperta ai giovani freestylers under 20) inizierà domani e da domani arriverà anche il più importante dei locals, il Mistral che è previsto forte per i prossimi tre giorni! European Funboard Expression – Wave & Freestyle contest + EFPkT final
10-14 November 2010 - Six Fours les Plages (France)
Be prepared for an explosive show!
Yes ! We could not expect such a better forecast for the opening of the 2nd edition of the « Funboard Expression » in Six Fours (aka « Brutal Beach » - South France). The local wind, the « Mistral », is announced for 3 days and will allow the organization to launch both disciplines, wave and freestyle.
Also welcoming the EFPkT final this year, the large bay of Six Fours has already proved in the past (PBA World Cups) and during the 2009 « National Funboard Expression » that its local beaches are ideal playgrounds for windsurfing. This is why, with the support of the local institutions, the townhall, local partners, IFCA, FFV, EFPT and AFF associations, Six Fours Windsurf Organization will launch again the « Funboard Expression » contest that now becomes european.
Competition will already kick off on Wednesday 10th with Freestyle, as the wind will blast in the afternoon. It should be even more explosive with the Wave contest in la Coudoulière on Thursday. 50 riders are expected, coming from all over France but also a few kids from Italy, Nederlands and Germany !
